It is only unfortunate that we at times fail to recognise a most stupendous talent around us. It is worse when we choose to ignore our own talent and allow it to be over-powered by the pressures around.
A journey from the “cars and choppers” cartoons on the last-pages of the notebooks many years back in school to here, its been a long and enduring one. Not all of us keep the spirit alive. You have!
And, please carry on. It gets you the best of both the worlds.
Just once little piece of advice: don’t let the originality be overpowered by any degree of commercial feasibility (or rather, compulsion).
Congratulations for the beginning!

Where do you get all these ideas? Its just awesome. At times it makes me guilty that I am reading a professional journalist/cartoonist work for free. You could have earned a lot with this skill or are you doing it already? Just curious. :)

:) thanks for appreciating,as you must have read in the About Brainstuck.com Page(if you have),I am not earning any money through it,neither do I plan to as of now.If anyone likes my work, I just tell them to use it anyway they like and spread the good word.

No. 21 — January 25th, 2008 at 10:46 am
You should put some kind of a rating gadget against each of your comics… This way the readers will be able to rate your comics and you will be able to have a best of best kind of list :)
No. 22 — January 25th, 2008 at 12:47 pm
Yes, Right…. 3 Things:
*Rating/Voting Gadget
*Code for each toon to Link back or display on Myspace,Facebook,Flickr etc.
* & Plugin to share it on social Bookmarking sites.
I can also put best rated cartoons on Brainstuck.com Merchandise.
But most of it could be done on self-hosted blog.

Love the blog dude! Went through the archives… passed some office time. Would advise a comic rating tool. There’s so much content, and I did feel like commenting on most, but that’s a pain.
Since you’re using wordpress on a self hosted domain (I think) you could try out Wp-Post Rating plugin (http://lesterchan.net/portfolio/programming/php/).
Does the job well, and once you have built up some data on ratings, you could display the top rated comics somewhere.

Saad, Thanks for appreciating, there is one more previous comment about rating, I had checked out few of those rating plugins but may be I either forgot or was taken over by laziness.
Thanks for the advice, will check out the link you suggested. Also, dumped two analytics plugins, never really used them.
I did make a quick visit to your blog, will visit it again with more time in hands and comment. Hope you continue to enjoy your visits here.
regards…

Rating plugin isn’t working in my current theme, I think I have to find a new theme first.

No. 34 — September 4th, 2008 at 2:38 pm
Dunno why I haven’t come to this page before. Anshul, I agree with Chirag, your work is great! So is this blog! I read it regularly, as you know. I don’t always leave comments because somehow there isn’t so much to say except grin!
Btw, thanks for leaving those long comments on my blog. I was rather surprised, because I know you are not into commenting much. Which means it is an honour that you commented on my blog. Thanks again.
No. 35 — September 4th, 2008 at 4:04 pm
@Chirag, thanks for appreciation hope you continue to re-visit, since brainstuck is now on your 18 must read webcomics. :)
@Nita, Good to see you here again and thanks for such kind words. It always feels good to leave comments on your so well researched posts, and words like ‘Honored’ are too heavy for me to carry them around, so lets not put that much pressure on me. :)
No. 36 — September 9th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
