Yeah those dings really kill you if you’re on headphones.
Slightly unrelated… those Ta-Da sounds on Railway platforms remind me of Window 95.
And these are even more irritating when the “No sounds” option stops working and you get dings even when you receive an email in Outlook!
I hate ppl who dont turn off their sound at workstations and you hear the Sametime sound everytime they get a sametime message !! aaargh !
Put off your speakers, stupid! It would be less irritating!! :P :P
I just mute windows, too much noise pollution.
Since most of the machines are powered by Windows, you can actually hear windows start-up sounds at public places when they turn on/off their comp..
